Slough Swapmeet
The swapmeet is now in its 26th year, the traders and clubs now come from Europe and the United States to sell their wares to the VW public. The items on sale are diverse and range from the rare and scarce parts from early air cooled VW vehicles to modern / fun items. Montem Sports Hall, Slough Doors open to the public at 0900hrs

Beetle Bash
I think this was my second ever VW festival... it was great and bloomin massive.. seem to remember they pushed it a little too far a couple of years later and the thing collapsed never to be seen again.. shame. These photos include hydrolic remote controlled beetle, fancy airbrushing inside the wheel arch, BIG sound systems and see-through engine lids..
Beach Buggin'
Set on Southsea Common, next to the shore, Beach Buggin' is a great show. There were hundreds of people and cars when I arrived just after 10am. A real mix of old and new cars and vans. The photos don't do it justice, unfortunately I couldn't hang out there all day but it was enough to convert my girlfriend and convince her that buying a camper is a great idea!
Bug Jam 19
Great festival, first time I've gone in a van... not sure if my bro's van was ratty or just tatty but it got us there and back which is more than can be said for some. Met some good folks, laughed like mad in the comedy tent, drunk too much and danced our cares away in the disco
